About HBA

The HBA elementary and middle schools recently completed a fundraising drive for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients drive.

The drive asked for donations from students of pennies, other coins, and bill currency to contribute to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The funds from the drive will go to help individual patients and their families as well as help to find cures for these two problematic diseases. 

The Elementary raised $2,183.93.  The Elementary class that received the most donations was Mr. Kim's 5B homeroom.  They raised a total of $547. 04.   Their class was rewarded with a pizza party from Papa John's that was sponsored by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
