HBA’s Gold and Black teams will play each other for the Oahu Circuit Championship on Feb. 12 in the final match of the regular season. This is the third year in a row that HBA teams have squared off in a regular season ending match to determine the Oahu Circuit Championship. Unfortunately, one team will have to lose but the other one will be in the state tournament Mar. 8. The question is WHICH? Regardless, as one coach said, “It’s not winner take all but HBA take all!”
On Feb. 5, HBA’s Gold team prevailed over Mililani’s “Jefferson” team 88-80 and our Black team outscored Punahou 104-102. Both HBA teams are undefeated at 3-0.
