The senior Wordmaster teams’ combined scores put HBA tied for 15th
The senior Wordmaster teams' combined scores put HBA tied for 15th in the nation overall for 2008-09
During the last meet, seniors Nicole Kim and Shayna Fukuhara and juniors Isaac Pajo and Nicole Watts scored in the top 150 students in their grade levels out of 24,000 students who took the rigorous tests.
Nicole Kim is also a national finalist in the Christopher Columbus essay contest, sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Italian American Society. The national winner will be announced in October.
