HBA placed top in the Oahu Private Schools division for News writing and Photography at the 41st annual Hawaii State High School Journalism Awards. HBA Senior Sinjin Takahashi was named “Most Valuable Staffer,” for his contributions to his school newspaper.
The contest is sponsored by the Hawaii Publishers Association in partnership with the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and the Honolulu Advertiser. The awards luncheon was held on April 28 at the Pagoda Hotel.
