College Counseling

Beginning with self-assessment of strengths and interests in grade 7 to career exploration by their senior year, college preparation consists of educating and advising each student through the college search and financial aid process. Students are seen yearly to evaluate their progress and understand the relationship of their academic status to college admission requirements. College advising is conducted as a team effort with students and parents to examine expectations, goals, abilities, and application strategies. Grade level parent night presentations and our newsletter “The College Prep” are essential sources in the sharing of communication and informative updates of college resources, parent interaction, and spiritual support.

As a college preparatory school that encourages the development of critical thinking, well-balanced, service-minded individuals, our college counseling program serves to support academic excellence within a Christian community. Our commitment each year to graduating 100% college-bound seniors heading to institutions from Hawaii to Massachusetts, Washington to Texas, is reflected in the acceptances of our graduates.
