Ho‘olaule‘a 2010 Highlights

Held July 6-9, HBA Alumni Association’s week-long series of events brought graduates together from as far away as Florida (and faculty too) to reminisce and reconnect. See you all next year!

From the Class of 1984 to the Class of 2010 (ILH Division II Champs!) seven teams battled it out at the inaugural alumni volleyball tournament.

At Friday night’s Ho‘olaule‘a, this year’s Outstanding Teacher Award was presented to Lynne Nakano, who has dedicated more than 20 years to HBA and her students. Jean Omiya Nohara ’61, received the Distinguished Alumni Award for supporting her alma mater over the years. Maureen King was also recognized for her 50th anniversary as a teacher at HBA.
