It'll be a competition involving brains and speed this Saturday as three HBA students compete on It's Academic. The local TV quiz show celebrates academics and features some of Hawaii's brightest high school students. Representing HBA will be Alecia Griffin, senior, Jantzen Nakai, junior, and Chase Higa, sophomore.

KITV Kicks Off New School Series Featuring HBA

Hawaii Baptist Academy students got to show off their Eagle pride on Monday, during a special visit to the elementary school by local news station KITV. On Monday, KITV launched its new school series, which gives viewers a glimpse of student life and academics at different schools around the Oahu.

HBA Honored for School Excellence

Representing the Interscholastic League of Honolulu (Oahu's private schools), HBA has now won the Division II first place Kaimana Award (out of 17 total schools) in 2006 and every year since 2008. HBA also finished second in 2007. HBA is the only ILH school – regardless of division – to be recognized all eight years of the program.
