The feed features aerial, drone photography and video by Jimmy Wilkinson '99. In March, Wilkinson's feed was named by HuffPost Hawaii as one of the top 10 Instagram feeds that Hawaii enthusiasts should follow. As of May, his feed had more than 10,000 followers.

6th Grade Aloha Celebration

The Class of 2021 celebrated their accomplishments Tuesday evening at the 6th Grade Aloha Celebration. The celebration, which was held in the courtyard of the elementary school campus, began with all 96 students singing a class song written to the tune of "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth.

Middle school and high school students took some extra time to learn about God during the last week of third quarter. It was all part of Christian Emphasis Week (CEW), which was held from March 9 – 13. Each year, the Christian Ministries Department hosts a special week where students are able to discuss and explore issues surrounding God and faith.

Fourth Graders Fly to Maui

HBA's fourth graders flew to Maui during the first week of March to study Hawaii's history firsthand. The students visited the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum, the Bailey House and the Whaler's Village Museum. They also visited the Iao Valley Needle, the Hawaii Nature Center, Lahaina, the Maui Ocean Center and enjoyed a spectacular performance by 'Ulalena.

Kindergarteners Remind Seniors of God's Love

The kindergarten class celebrated Valentine's Day with their senior buddies at Malulani Hale on Tuesday. The students sang songs, recited scripture and gave handmade cards to each of their buddies. In following with the theme of Valentine's Day, Lisa Lichtenberg, kindergarten teacher, told the seniors that the students are reminders of God's love for them.
