Elementary School
Approximately 430 students are enrolled in grades K-6. There are three classes each in kindergarten and grades 4 and 5; and two classes each in grades 1-3. There are four classes in grade 6. Maximum enrollment per class is 16 in kindergarten, 22 in grade 1, and 24 in grades 2-6.
School hours are from 7:55 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Hot lunch may be purchased for $4.50 for grades 3-6; $3.95 for grades K-2 (milk is included). All lunch tickets are sold in booklets of 10 at the cafeteria. Breakfast is available from 7 - 7:45 a.m. a la carte, on a cash basis.
HBA does not provide bus service; however, outside bus service is available through an independent school bus service company. Car pool information is available for those interested.
HBA expects and encourages the highest level of conduct from its students. Guidelines regarding appropriate dress and personal appearance are adhered to by the total school community, as outlined in the school handbook.
Students in grades K-6 may enroll in the After School Enrichment Program operated at the elementary campus by HBA. This program is offered from 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on school days.
