1. FROM CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES (Mrs. Gruspe):
a. Servant Group: We are having Chapel in the gym this week. Please come early to help set up the gym. Thanks!
b. 8th Grade Camp Counselors, please go to the MS campus on Thursday morning to help load the U-Haul truck.
c. If you are helping with JAM, we will be starting up again on Wednesday. Please meet in front of Mr. Lockridge's room by 2:55pm. We will leave by 3pm.
2. Students: UHM Korean Language Flagship Center announces its The National Security Language Initiative for Youth Program for June 15 -July 31, 2010. Are you interested in traveling to Korea and participating in a homestay program that will give you an opportunity to take language classes at Korea University? You must be 15-18 years old by June 15, 2010, in grades 9-12, be a US citizen, and have a minimum 3.0 gpa. Funding for tuition, airfare, housing, and meals are provided. This program is open to 10 students. Applications are available online. The postmark deadline is April 9, 2010. {Mrs. Hirae}
3. The PAC-5 Baseball game will be televised on Saturday, April 10 at 4:00 p.m. on OC16. If you want to see the game live, get down to the Central Oahu Regional Park (CORP)--Field 4 (field with the lights). The team would love your support! {Mrs. Hirae}
4. All Varsity Athletes: Please be sure to turn in your athletic banquet registration forms and payments to the athletic office. If you were mailed a form in error, please disregard it. If you should have received a form, but did not, please come to the athletic office. Thanks, Mr. Oshiro

7. Congratulations to Kelli, Emi, Lauren, Lindsay, Lauren, and Chad for winning district competition for History Day and qualifying to go on to State competition. 10th-11th GRADES: For Juniors and Sophomores -- An email was sent last week Wednesday alerting your parents about a California college tour that is planned to take place next Fall Break for NEXT year's seniors and juniors. Also, a packet is being mailed to your parents this week that includes more information, the application form, and other forms that will need to be filled out and submitted as soon as possible for those families that are interested in being considered for this tour. 12th GRADE: HBA Eagles, we will once again host a blood drive to help our community on Monday, April 12th. Your support adds to our school pride! If you are 17 or older, you can still sign up to give blood in Room 107. If not, you can sign up to bring food.
