From the MS Principal (Mrs. Little):
  • Middle school students do not have final exams for Flex periods.
  • If you miss any final exam(s) due to illness, please have your parents call your teacher to arrange a time to take his/her test.  It is imperative that all tests are made up promptly as report cards cannot be finalized and printed until all grades have been processed.
  • Please make sure that you are picked up by 11:15 a.m. on exam days.
  • The snack bar will be open during break on exam days.
  • Clean out your locker!  Anything remaining in there will be discarded.  Remember to take your lock home.  Come and get your extra key if you have one from the office.
  • Please check the lost and found in the office for any items that may be yours.
  • Please pay any library book fines that you may have.
  • You are responsible to turn in all your rental textbooks no later than your final exam dates.  Be sure to follow your teacher’s instructions on how to turn in your books.  Turn in all late books to the middle school office not to your teacher.  A lost book fee will be assessed if your book is not returned. Damaged books are subject to fee.  A letter about the lost or damaged books will be sent home to your parents.
  • There is no supervision after school.  Students should not to go to the elementary campus or high school campus to “hang out”.
  • Remember to refrain from any questionable behavior!  Finish well!
  • Summer School begins on June 16, 2008.
  • The new school year will begin on August 4, 2008.  Have a blessed summer!
From the Christian Ministries Office (Mrs. Gruspe):

All Students:
  • "Something More" is coming this summer.  If you have questions about God or being a Christian or if you want to dive into his Word and see how it applies to you then check "Something More" out.  It will be every Tuesday from 12:30pm to 1:30pm during the summer school session.  Snacks will be provided so come with a huger for food as well as a hunger for more of God.
  • Also coming this summer is the Summer Olympics.  HBA students (and their friends) will be competing against church youth groups in competitions such as basketball, ping pong, video games, messy games and so much more.  It's going to be a blast.  After each evening of competition there will be an awesome time of worship and snacks.  The summer Olympics will be on Thursdays, beginning on June 12th and will be held at Kalihi Union Church.  Flyers will be available soon.  If you would like to help with set-up or clean-up, please let Mr. Lockridge or Mrs. Gruspe know.
  • Servant Group applications are due this Friday.
8th Graders:  Servant Group- We will be holding a Cross-Training Camp during the summer for servant group members.  This camp will be limited to 30 students.  Location:  Camp Timberline from July 14th-16th (Mon-Wed).  If you are interested please pick up a registration from Mr. Lockridge.
