Elementary School (JK-6)

The curriculum in grades Junior Kindergarten - three utilizes a self-contained classroom structure. A modified team teaching method is used in grades four, five, and six. The expanded curriculum meets the individual needs of the pupils through basic skills training and enrichment activities. A wide variety of experiences helps each student move toward maximum potential intellectually, emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually.

The program of study in all grades includes Bible, reading, writing, mathematics, social studies and science. Kindergarten through third grade students receive instruction in phonics, handwriting and spelling, while grades four through six are instructed in vocabulary and grammar. A healthy choices curriculum is part of the grade six life skills. All students participate in art, computer (including digital citizenship), music, library science, guidance and physical education.

Spiritual Focus

Developing Christian values is integrated through classroom to all of campus life. Chapel services strengthen and compliment the exploration given to Bible curriculum taught in every grade. As an institution, we are committed to sharing with students what it means to be a Christ Follower. We invite students to explore the truths of Jesus Christ in a safe and respectful way. The elementary Campus Minister provides opportunities for conversations, learning and practice for the soul care of students, faculty and parents.
