Elementary School (K-6)
Our elementary school serves more than 400 students from kindergarten through sixth grade.
The curriculum in grades kindergarten through third grade utilizes a self-contained classroom structure. A modified team teaching method is used in grades four, five, and six. The expanded curriculum meets the individual needs of each student through hands-on learning and enrichment activities. A wide variety of experiences helps each student move toward maximum potential intellectually, emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually.
The program of study in all grades includes Bible, reading, writing, mathematics, social studies and science. Kindergarten through third grade students receive instruction in phonics, handwriting and spelling, while grades four through six are instructed in vocabulary and grammar. All students participate in art, music, guidance, library, physical education and STEM.
Spiritual Focus
The development of Christian values is integrated throughout all of campus life. Chapel services strengthen and compliment the exploration of the Bible that occurs in every grade. As an institution, we are committed to sharing with students what it means to be a Christ Follower. We invite students to explore the truths of Jesus Christ in a safe and respectful way. The elementary Campus Minister provides opportunities for conversations, learning and practice for the soul care of students, faculty and parents.
