Learning and Growing Together
While HBA is often recognized for its high academic standards, equally important is a child’s social, emotional, and spiritual development. Our school’s program emphasizes these four values: humility, curiosity, love and commitment.
All curriculum will be developmentally appropriate to meet the needs of each classroom of students.
HBA's Early Learning Center at GracePoint provides a warm, nurturing, healthy, enlightening and stimulating environment that allows the children to grow at their own individual rates of development. We provide a variety of hands-on experiences to help the children not only develop their basic concepts, but to also develop a positive sense of self concept, self-confidence and self-esteem. By building sound social and emotional skills the children are better able to become successful in their academic growth.
The program is based on sound principles of child development and early childhood education. At HBA's Early Learning Center at GracePoint, we believe that the children learn best by doing. Learning requires active thinking, experimenting and firsthand experience to find out how things work and to learn about the world. At school we focus on the process rather than the product in the work that the young learners render. We see play and hands-on experiences as the foundation for academic or “school” learning and provide a balance of both. We believe in developing the whole child.

Better Together
We believe that working together as a team not only builds community but is also vital in helping our children grow to be the best that they can be.
Daily communication, weekly updates, parent teacher conferences, and multiple parent engagement opportunities are just a few of the ways that we build community and enhance the children's learning experiences.
We are so blessed to have a village of supporters, in addition to our Hawaii Baptist Academy ʻohana, we have our GracePoint Church ʻohana. We welcome you and your family with open arms!
