Grades 1-6

Step 1: Submit the Application

• Complete the application and upload all documents through Ravenna.
• Submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
   

Step 2: Register for HBA Admissions Testing

• Once your application is submitted, please sign up for the required HBA admissions exam sent to you via email. 
• Submit report cards: previous year’s final report card and current year’s Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 grades.
• Submit two (2) Teacher Reference Reports from your child's current English and math teachers.
• Submit one (1) Administrator/ Counselor Reference Report from your child’s current school 
• Submit one (1) Extracurricular Reference Report (e.g., coach, music teacher, club advisor).
   

Step 3: Schedule and Attend Parent Interview

• After completing the steps above, families will be contacted to schedule an admissions interview with a member of our faculty member.
   

Step 4: Attend HBA Admissions Testing Appointment

• Students will complete the required HBA testing on their scheduled date. Details and instructions will be provided. (Add about student observation)

Students are selected for admission on the basis of performance on achievement tests (grades 1-6), teacher recommendations and current report cards. Because of the limited enrollment in each grade level, only those students who demonstrate a potential for success with our school programs are admitted.

After tests results, recommendation forms, interview, school report cards and all other pertinent data are evaluated, notification of the admission decision will be made. You can expect to receive a decision letter from us according to the following timetable:

• Grades 1-5: Letters mailed out no later than Friday, March 19, 2027. Date to reply: deadline will be given.
• Grade 6: Letters mailed out no later than Monday, March 1, 2027. Date to reply: deadline will be given.

Upon acceptance, a $500 deposit is required. Admission notification continues as long as there are vacancies. Students on the Wait List will be notified when an opening occurs.
