Hawaii Baptist Academy welcomes you as a candidate for admission. Applications for the 2020-2021 school year will be accepted beginning September 1, 2019. The non-refundable application fee is $100 and the deadline to apply is January 15, 2020.
Step 1: Complete the application and submit all documents through Ravenna
- Submit Birth Certificate
- Submit Progress Report or Report Card
- Submit Teacher Reference Form(s): grades 1-4 submit 1; grades 5 and 6 submit 2 (language arts and math teachers)
Step 2: Attend scheduled interview session
Step 3: Attend scheduled admissions testing appointment
Students are selected for admission on the basis of performance on achievement tests (grades 1-6), teacher recommendations and current report cards. Because of the limited enrollment in each grade level, only those students who demonstrate a potential for success with our school programs are admitted.
After tests results, recommendation forms, interview, school report cards and all other pertinent data are evaluated, notification of the admission decision will be made. You can expect to receive a decision letter from us according to the following timetable:
- Grades 6- Decision letters mailed out no later than March 25, 2020. Date to reply: April 15, 2020.
- Grades 1-5: Decision letters mailed out no later than April 22, 2020. Date to reply: May 10, 2020.
Admissions notification continues as long as there are vacancies. Students on the waiting list will be notified when an opening occurs.
