Once a student is enrolled, parents are financially responsible to pay full tuition and fees for the entire academic year. The financial obligation may be canceled by notifying Hawaii Baptist Academy in writing no later than June 25 that the child will not enroll. No portion of tuition, fees, charges paid, or outstanding balances will be refunded or canceled in the event of a student's absence, withdrawal, or dismissal from Hawaii Baptist Academy. Cancelation of any enrollment may also be subject to forfeiture of the reservation deposit.

Comprehensive Fees and Book Fees*
Elementary (K-6): $615-$1215
Includes cost of yearbook, BOB shirt, programs and assemblies, testing, most field trips, school newspaper, assignment books, athletics, and campus security.
Middle/High School (7-12): $930-$955
Includes cost of yearbook, testing, student handbook/catalog, school newspaper, programs and assemblies, student planners (7 – 12), transportation (field trips and athletics), athletics, and campus security. Grades 7-12 camp fees and certain MHS grade level activities are also included.
Hawaii Baptist Academy is pleased to offer a 10 percent tuition discount to our alumni, siblings, and military employees. Tuition is payable either annually, semi-annually, or by installment
Annual (Full) Payment
Tuition is payable in advance in one single payment on or before July 5 and includes a $150 prepayment discount (not applicable for financial aid recipients). Enrollment in the Tuition Refund Plan is optional.
Tuition is payable in advance in two installments. The first installment is one half of the tuition along with all fees and due on or before July 5. The second installment of the balance is due on or before December 5. This option requires enrollment in the Tuition Refund Plan.
Installment (10-Month) Payments
Payments are divided into ten monthly installments from July 5 to April 5. All fees are included in the July 5 payment. This option requires a $150 handling fee per family and enrollment in the Tuition Refund Plan.
HBA assesses a $25 late fee and finance charge of 1.5% per month on all unpaid student account balances. Student accounts must be paid in full prior to the issuance of official academic transcripts or participation in graduation ceremonies.
HBA offers tuition insurance to assist with financial losses incurred during the academic year because of withdrawal, dismissal, extended medical absence or death of a student’s parent or legal guardian. Participation in TRP is required for families who choose the semi-annual or installment payment plans, and optional for those who choose the annual (full) payment option.
