Chloe Yamamoto
Chloe Yamamoto ʼ25 started Bionic 808 Shop with the goal of sharing her passion for drawing and creativity with others. What began as a hobby has grown into a small business where she designs and produces stickers, laser-cut goods, jewelry, and now apparel. Every product is personally designed and created by her.
Chloe launched her business during her freshman year at HBA, and since then, has fulfilled over 3,000 orders. She regularly sells at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Monday Markets through the Hawaii Student Entrepreneurs Club.
Running Bionic 808 Shop has given her hands-on operational experience at a young age and has strongly influenced her decision to major in business. Applying real world experience to her coursework has strengthened her understanding of entrepreneurship, marketing, and management.
Through this journey, she has also grown into leadership roles, including serving as Director of Professional Development in the Entrepreneurship Club. Planning to continue growing her business throughout college, she aspires to scale Bionic 808 Shop into an even larger venture in the future.
