Jessica (Ignacio) Messer
Jessica (Ignacio) Messer graduated from HBA in 2010 and attended the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. She graduated in 2014 with her Master’s in Social Work and a minor in Ilokano Language and Literature. She currently works as a clinician for two State programs under the Department of Health Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division, serving youth and families with a history of trauma and other mental health difficulties such as psychosis. She also started a “passion project” turned small business called Love, Ama + Ina (@loveamakenina) that highlights the Ilokano language through art. Of the many roles she plays, her favorites are wife and mommy. She has been married to her sweetheart since her senior year at HBA, and has two kids (2yo, 1yo).
