Naluhoe

Naluhoe is a mother/son duo performing traditional Hawaiian music. Aunty Vicky Hollinger and son, Kawika McGuire, have been entertaining locally for decades, since Kawika was just a teenager. They have enjoyed engagements at several Waikiki hotels, including the Sheraton Waikiki, the Royal Hawaiian, and the Moana Surfrider. They also played an extended engagement at Kona Brewing in Koko Marina and the Elks Club in Waikiki. Private parties and events rounded out their entertainment schedules over the years. In the 1970ʻs Aunty Vicky sang with the beloved Hawaii Calls radio broadcast as a soloist, and Kawika is currently the singing emcee at Tihatiʻs nightly production in the International Market Place. Kawika is also the husband of HBAʻs own alumna, Becky (Chong) McGuire ʻ92 who is currently Elementary Admissions Director at HBA.
