Athletic Booster Club
The Athletic Booster Club is an organization of volunteers who supports the Athletic Department of Hawaii Baptist Academy. We strive to build relationships among HBA’s student athletes, coaches, and parents. The overall mission of the Athletic Booster Club is:
- to promote respect, integrity and valuing others;
- to conduct ourselves in a manner that testifies the gospel and love of Jesus Christ;
- and to inspire others to serve for the glory of God!
We are also proud to support HBA’s athletic program through:
- Travel subsidies (to competitions on the mainland and neighbor islands)
- Varsity Banquet Sponsorships (an annual event held to celebrate athletic achievements and fellowship)
- Varsity jackets
- Equipment as requested by the Athletic Department
- Funding for special projects
- School wide events such as Spike Nite & Homecoming (we offer free food for all players, coaches, and spectators - an opportunity to share Christ’s love with fellow HBA families and other school communities)
- Need-based scholarships through our newly funded endowment
- Prayer for HBA’s student-athletes, coaches, and athletic community
To become a member, you must be an HBA alumni or a parent of an HBA student (past or present). Full ABC membership benefits will be provided to those who, within the school year, attend club meetings and participate in at least three of our six special events.
