Sean Uezu attended Hawaii Baptist Academy from the 7th grade and graduated in 1992.  He then went to the University of Washington in Seattle and graduated with a degree in Business Administration.  After returning home, Sean joined the family business and as the company President, oversaw the expansion of the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen franchise from 2 locations to 6 locations.  He is busy working on building their first outer island location in Pahoa on the Big Island, expected to open in September 2022.  

Sean is married to Nari Uezu and has two sons, Austin (11) and Aaron (8).  When not playing pickleball, basketball or tennis with family and friends, Sean volunteers his time as the treasurer of the Hawaii Chess Federation and president of the Kalihi Business Association.
