Winona (Au) White '83

Winona (Au) White is a Human Resources Executive with over 25 years of experience building and leading teams of HR professionals for three multi-billion dollar Hawaii businesses with workforces of 4,000+ employees. In February 2014 she was named Vice President of Human Resources for Kamehameha Schools. She was previously Vice President of HR at Kaiser Permanente for seven years.

Winona received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from the University of Hawaii’s Shidler School of Business, where she is still connected as Capstone Project executive panelist for the masters of human resources management program. She is also a graduate of the advanced leadership and human resources programs at University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flager Business School and University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

Reflecting back, Winona says, “HBA has blessed my life with a solid education, strong work ethic and spiritual foundation, all of which have served me well in my career and life journey.” She and her husband Patrick have two daughters at HBA, Taylor, a junior, and Emily, an 8th grader. Winona is a member of the Athletic Booster Club and HBA Alumni Association board. The family has established the White Ohana Scholarship Endowment Fund at HBA.
