Intersession & Holiday Program

Intersession

Students have the opportunity to experience hands-on activities in core subject areas. Classes in S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) are also offered. Enrichment classes in computer, sports and recreation and the arts are available to foster creative and personal development. Intersession classes are offered during the first week of fall and spring breaks from 7:55 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.

Holiday Program

Our Holiday Program is designed to encourage students to explore and grow through a variety of planned activities, community presentations and field trips. Quality childcare is provided directly after intersession classes dismiss.  During the second week of fall and spring breaks and during the winter break, the program runs from 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.  Students may enroll per week for all programs. *Week 1 of Holiday Program must be enrolled in Intersession morning classes.

SPRING INTERSESSION INFORMATION

Week 1 - March 17 - 21, 2025 (5 Days - Grades JK-6)

• AM Intersession Classes (7:55 a.m. - 11:40 a.m.)
• PM Holiday Program (11:40 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. )

Week 2 - March 24 - 25, 27 - 28, 2025 (4 Days - Grades K-6)

• Full Day Holiday Program  (7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

Holidays: March 26 (Prince Kuhio Day)

Age Groups

HBA's Intersession and Holiday Programs are open to all students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. Spring Intersession Junior Kindergarten program is only available for the first week, March 17-21 and is for current HBA students.

Location

Spring Intersession 2025 will be held at the Richard Bento Elementary School campus.

Meals

Meals are included in tuition costs. Breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack (Holiday Program) are provided by FLIK Independent School Dining.
