Uniform Policy

Hawaii Baptist Academy has a dress code in place to promote a positive, distraction-free learning and social environment.  HBA also wants to provide options for families and parents so during the 2022-23 school year when our students from elementary to high school demonstrated leadership and diplomacy in addressing some of their concerns over the dress code, we listened.  The senior leadership team received opinion papers from students as young as second grade and our high school student council held multiple forums on this topic to gather data and information from their peers.  Here is a summary of the uniform updates that were determined.

For more information about uniforms, please visit your respective student/parent handbook located in the MyEagle portal.  Below is an updated summary to help provide more information to parents/students to learn more about our current uniform policies and options:

  • Lands End is our vendor of HBA-branded polo shirts.  The polo shirts are in line with the colors of HBA logo: black, white, and gray.  Students are required to wear uniform tops on all days except for PE, Eagle Fridays, and designated Spirit Days.
  • For those who still own HBA-branded polo shirts from our former vendor, Mills, those polo shirts continue to be acceptable.
